Most NSA firms already provide expertise in Wills and Probate, debt and Insolvency, Equity Release, Accident Litigation, Family Law, Employment advice and Conveyancing but much of this traditional work will face competition from the supermarkets and other household names.
Conveyancing services are seen as one of the areas most likely to be affected.
In spite of perceptions in some quarters that the conveyancing process takes too long and the law firms involved tend not to communicate very well with their clients, smaller local ‘high street’ practices are a vital cog in the local economy, and offer a wide range of valuable services to your local community.
NSA are developing a nationwide network of local groups of law firms who have all adopted agreed methods of working which, through co-operation and local agreements, speed up the conveyancing process. NSA also encourages its members to constantly strive to improve their services and their communication with both their clients and other professionals involved in the home buying process.
NSA believe that the needs of buyers and sellers are the most important part of conveyancing process not the process itself, and that people prefer to be treated as individuals not as a transactions.

NSA member firms will also be part of an inter-referral network in which they can refer any matter not within their area of expertise, with confidence, to another likeminded NSA member in the local area.
